♟️ Chess: A Game of Mind and Focus

 What is Chess?

Chess is a board game played by two players. It is played on a board with black and white squares. The board has sixty-four squares, arranged in eight rows and eight columns. Each player has sixteen pieces, and every piece has a special way of moving:
  • King: The most important piece. It moves only one square at a time in any direction.
  • Queen: The most powerful piece. She can move any number of squares in any direction (straight or diagonal).
  • Rooks (2): Move in straight lines (up, down, left, or right).
  • Bishops (2): Move only diagonally.
  • Knights (2): Move in a unique "L" shape.
  • Pawns (8): Move forward one step at a time. When a pawn reaches the other end of the board, it can become a queen or any other piece.

Players must think before every move and plan their next step. One wrong move can change the whole game.

The Goal
The main aim of chess is to protect your king and checkmate the opponent's king. Chess helps improve memory, patience, focus, planning, and logical thinking. It is a great way to train your mind and improve your memory while having fun.

A Life Lesson
The pawn teaches us something important. It starts as the smallest, weakest piece on the board. But if it keeps moving forward, it can become a queen; the most powerful piece. This shows us no matter how small or weak we feel today, if we keep working hard and never give up, one day you can win.
